Just a quick update on my mini herb garden:
At the end of May I planted mustard greens and nasturtium from seeds and they grew great!
Nasturtium leaves are entirely edible and so are the flowers. The flowers haven’t shown up yet but they can be stuffed w a soft cheese as a pretty side.
Harvesting the largest leaves clears the foliage to allow the next generation to grow and then I processed the leaves with a couple of garlic cloves and olive oil for a rough pesto; the pesto tastes more like black pepper than classic basil pesto.

I put the pesto on crackers or pasta or pizza or salad or…
Enjoy this feast for the eyes and the taste buds!
